Residential lease agreements can be concluded via Gosuslugi
Residential lease agreements can now be concluded online. For now the service is available only through Cian, with other platforms to be added later.
An owner or agent can post a listing on Cian and draw up a contract, which is signed via Gosuslugi or the Gosklyuch app. If needed, an application for temporary registration can be filed with the Interior Ministry straight away.
The Digital Ministry stressed that authorisation through Gosuslugi guarantees the authenticity of the data and of ownership rights, while automatic field-filling reduces the risk of errors and allows contracts to be concluded remotely.
